Every single person on the planet has different morning routine! Good or bad, the first few hours in the morning are a vital in the productivity and what happens for the rest of the day!
You Might already be doing some, but I guarantee you that if you do these five things every morning you’ll have more productive days, weeks, months, years.. ect! Consistency is KEY!
#1 Wake up early!
Even if you don’t read the rest of this blog, make early rising a priority in your life and the benefits will speak for themselves! Learn how to listen and to wake up to your alarm, starting a morning routine early sets up the rest of the morning effectively. Early rising also has a lot of positive impacts on your health!
#2 Never miss a healthy Breakfast!
It has come to my attention over the year that skipping breakfast can become a routine easily, especially if your as busy as I am every day! But what I did know is how important having a healthy breakfast is every morning to fuel your morning! When was the last time you had a healthy breakfast with fruit? Leave a comment below!
#3 Drink Water!
I know this sounds like an obvious statement, but its astonishing how many people don’t actually drink water as part of their morning routine! What I do is I have an easy to carry plastic water bottle which I take everywhere with me! The average human should be drinking roughly around 2 litres of water a day. I know some people don’t like the plain taste of water so why not try a flavoured water or adding fruits to your water bottle like slices of lemon or lime.
#4 Add Working out or exercise to your routine!
Even if you’re not a gym freak like some people, you should still prioritise your health and add exercise into your morning routine, even if its a home yoga work out off YouTube. All things being equal, a morning workout can boost your metabolism, allowing you to burn more calories throughout the day! Not only that, in the morning your hormones levels are working to your advantage, it will improve your mood throughout the day and increase your energy levels!
#5 Focus and meditate!
It might sound and feel silly at first to someone who has never taken the time to meditate. But meditation has helped me focus my mind and allowed me to be more productive in not just business, but all areas of my life! I challenge you all to do a little research on all the forms of meditation and practise one for 7 days. Even if it is just 15 minutes a day, you’ll get positive results!
Something that has helped me a lot when establishing a morning routine is having a daily personal development plan. Now there are a lot of different ways to do this so do your research, find out a style of personal development that suits you and get growing! My PD plan involves a lot of business and spiritual growth from books and audio content.
